DBRS Morningstar Posts Webinar Replay on UK Cladding Issue: More Than Just a Safety Hazard

DBRS Morningstar posted a webinar replay on the UK cladding issue in high-rise apartments and its impact on mortgages and residential mortgaged-backed securities (RMBS). The webinar was hosted by Gordon Kerr, Head of European Structured Finance Research, who was joined by Ketan Thaker, Head of European RMBS and Covered Bonds.

Kerr and Thaker provided an overview of the commentary, “UK Cladding: More Than Just a Safety Hazard”, covering the effect that the UK cladding issue is having on UK mortgage markets. The commentary also looks at the potential impact this could have on UK RMBS transactions, including the effect on borrowers, valuations, and the mortgage market.

The discussion lasted approximately 25 minutes and was followed by an interactive question-and-answer session.
