DBRS Morningstar Discontinues Ratings of SC Germany Consumer 2016-1 UG (haftungsbeschränkt)
Consumer Loans & Credit CardsDBRS Ratings GmbH (DBRS Morningstar) discontinued its ratings on the Class B Fixed-Rate, Class C Fixed-Rate, and Class D Floating-Rate Notes (together, the Notes) issued by SC Germany Consumer 2016-1 UG (haftungsbeschränkt).
The discontinuations reflect the full repayment of the Notes on the 13 April 2021 payment date. The remaining balances of the Notes prior to their full redemptions were as follows:
-- Class B Fixed-Rate Notes, EUR 7,532,680.32
-- Class C Fixed-Rate Notes, EUR 28,200,000.00
-- Class D Floating-Rate Notes, EUR 11,300,000.00

In DBRS Morningstar’s opinion, a discontinued-repaid rating action does not warrant the application of the entire principal methodology, as the bond has been repaid in full.

The sources of data and information used for these ratings include the Termination and Repurchase Agreement as well as an investor report provided by Santander Consumer Bank AG (the Servicer).
DBRS Morningstar did not rely upon third-party due diligence in order to conduct its analysis.
At the time of the initial rating, DBRS Morningstar was not supplied with third-party assessments. However, this did not impact the rating analysis.

The last rating action on this transaction took place on 7 October 2020, when DBRS Morningstar discontinued its AAA (sf) rating on the Class A Fixed-Rate Notes. Previously, on 3 August 2020, DBRS Morningstar confirmed its AAA (sf) rating on the Class A Fixed-Rate Notes, and upgraded the ratings on the Class B Fixed-Rate Notes, Class C Fixed-Rate Notes, and Class D Floating-Rate Notes to AAA (sf), AA (high) (sf), and AA (low) (sf) from AA (high) (sf), AA (sf), and A (sf), respectively.
