DBRS Morningstar Discontinues Ratings on NewDay Funding 2019-1 plc
Consumer Loans & Credit CardsDBRS Ratings Limited (DBRS Morningstar) discontinued its ratings on the Class A, Class B, Class C, Class D, Class E, and Class F Notes (together, the Notes) issued by NewDay Funding 2019-1 plc (the Issuer).
The discontinuations reflect the full repayment of the Class A, Class B, Class C, Class D, and Class E Notes on the scheduled redemption date of 15 June 2022 and the cancellation of the Class F notes on 20 April 2022. The Class F Notes were retained by the Originator, NewDay Ltd., and their cancellation occurred in the context of the defeasement of the notes issued by the Issuer. Prior to their repayment and cancellation, the ratings and the outstanding principal balance of the Notes were as follows:
-- Class A Notes rated at AAA (sf) with an outstanding principal balance of GBP 149,700,000.00
-- Class B Notes rated at AA (sf) with an outstanding principal balance of GBP 23,100,000.00
-- Class C Notes rated at A (low) (sf) with an outstanding principal balance of GBP 33,900,000.00
-- Class D Notes rated at BBB (low) (sf) with an outstanding principal balance of GBP 42,300,000.00
-- Class E Notes rated at BB (low) (sf) with an outstanding principal balance of GBP 23,700,000.00
-- Class F Notes rated at B (high) (sf) with an outstanding principal balance of GBP 12,300,000.00
