DBRS Morningstar Publishes Updated European CMBS Rating and Surveillance Methodology

DBRS Morningstar published an updated version of its “European CMBS Rating and Surveillance Methodology” (the Methodology).

DBRS Morningstar added certain clarifications in relation to the interest in arrears designation in European CMBS and removed references to internal assessments in Appendix G: Credit Tenant Leases.

DBRS Morningstar has conducted a periodic review of the Methodology. This update supersedes the previous version published on 17 December 2021 and is effective as of 14 December 2022.

DBRS Morningstar deems the update not to be material and has determined that no ratings are expected to change as a result of this update.
