DBRS Morningstar Discontinues Ratings on Ribbon Finance 2018 Plc
CMBSDBRS Ratings Limited (DBRS Morningstar) discontinued its ratings on all classes of commercial mortgage-backed notes issued by Ribbon Finance 2018 Plc as the notes were fully redeemed on 20 January 2023. This concludes DBRS Morningstar’s surveillance of this transaction.
Prior to their repayment, the ratings and the outstanding principal balance of the notes were as follows:

-- Class B notes rated at A (high) (sf); GBP 31,656,960
-- Class C notes rated at A (low) (sf); GBP 18,393,570
-- Class D notes rated at BBB (sf); GBP 32,282,592
-- Class E notes rated at BB (high) (sf); GBP 53,804,319
-- Class F notes rated at BB (sf); GBP 5,613,575

A review of the transaction legal documents was not conducted as the legal documents have remained unchanged since the most recent rating action.
In DBRS Morningstar's opinion, a discontinued-repaid rating action does not warrant the application of the entire principal methodology, as the bond has been repaid in full.

The sources of data and information used for these ratings include a notice to noteholders issued by Ribbon Finance 2018 Plc on 12 January 2023 and the cash manager’s quarterly report for the January 2023 interest payment date prepared by U.S. Bank Global Corporate Trust Limited.
DBRS Morningstar did not rely upon third-party due diligence in order to conduct its analysis.
At the time of the initial ratings, DBRS Morningstar was not supplied with third-party assessments. However, this did not impact the rating analysis.
DBRS Morningstar considers the data and information available to it for the purposes of providing these ratings to be of satisfactory quality.

The last rating action on this transaction took place on 1 November 2022, when DBRS Morningstar confirmed its ratings on the Class A through Class E notes, upgraded its rating on the Class F notes, and changed the trends on all ratings to Stable from Negative.
