DBRS Morningstar Publishes Updated Global Methodology for Rating Banks and Banking Organisations

DBRS Morningstar published an updated version of its “Global Methodology for Rating Banks and Banking Organisations” (the Methodology).

DBRS Morningstar has conducted a periodic review of the Methodology. This update supersedes the previous version published on 23 June 2022 and is effective as of 22 June 2023. The “DBRS Morningstar Global Criteria: Rating Principal-Protected Market-Linked Securities” has been incorporated into the Methodology as an Appendix. DBRS Morningstar deems the update not to be material and has determined that no ratings are expected to change as a result of this update.
