DBRS Morningstar Publishes Final Methodology for Canadian Residential Mortgage Servicer Rankings

DBRS Morningstar finalized its Canadian Residential Mortgage Servicer Rankings methodology.

This methodology presents the criteria for which Canadian residential mortgage servicer rankings are assigned and/or monitored. The ranking process is voluntary and is not a prerequisite to having a Canadian residential mortgage-backed security rated by DBRS Morningstar.

DBRS Morningstar received no comments during the request for comment period. Finalization of the methodology follows the conclusion of the request for comment period that began on May 11, 2023.

All comments received during the request for comment period have been published to the DBRS Morningstar website, except in cases where confidentiality is requested by the respondent.
