Morningstar DBRS Publishes Updated Operational Risk Assessment for U.S. ABS Originators and Operational Risk Assessment for U.S. ABS Servicers

Morningstar DBRS published two updated asset-backed securities (ABS) methodologies as follows:

-- “Operational Risk Assessment for U.S. ABS Originators” (March 21, 2024); and
-- “Operational Risk Assessment for U.S. ABS Servicers” (March 21, 2024).

These methodology updates were published as a result of Morningstar DBRS’ periodic review.

The updates supersede the following previous versions:

-- “Operational Risk Assessment for U.S. ABS Originators” (February 22, 2024); and
-- “Operational Risk Assessment for U.S. ABS Servicers” (February 22, 2024).

The updates are effective as of March 21, 2024. Morningstar DBRS deems the updates not to be material and has determined that no ratings are expected to change as a result of these updates.
