Morningstar DBRS Publishes Updated European RMBS Insight Methodology

Morningstar DBRS published an updated version of its “European RMBS Insight Methodology” (the Methodology).

Morningstar DBRS conducted a periodic review of the Methodology. This update supersedes the previous version published on 27 March 2023 and is effective as of 25 March 2024. Morningstar DBRS deems the update not to be material and determined that no ratings are expected to change as a result of this update.

On 15 May 2024, Morningstar DBRS amended the associated methodology with some editorial updates to the Loss Given Default formula, mostly to address a typo in the loss formula.
