Morningstar DBRS Assigns Credit Rating of BBB with Stable Trend to Cameco Corporation’s New Debenture Issuance
Natural ResourcesDBRS Limited (Morningstar DBRS) assigns a credit rating of BBB with a Stable trend to Cameco Corporation’s (Cameco) $500 million, 4.94% senior unsecured debentures due May 24, 2031 (the Debentures). The rating being assigned is based on the rating of an already outstanding series of the above-mentioned debt instruments.
Morningstar DBRS expects Cameco to use the net proceeds from the issuance of the Debentures to repay, at or prior to maturity, all of its outstanding $500 million 4.19% senior unsecured debentures due June 24, 2024.
