Morningstar DBRS: CI Financial Solicitation Status Changed to Unsolicited

DBRS Limited (Morningstar DBRS) notes that the solicitation status of the credit ratings of CI Financial Corp. and CI Investments Inc. (together CI Financial) changed from solicited to unsolicited. CI Financial has requested Morningstar DBRS to withdraw its credit ratings and as of September 11, 2024, CI Financial is no longer participating in the Morningstar DBRS credit ratings process. As of the date of this press release, Morningstar DBRS plans to maintain its coverage of CI Financial on an unsolicited basis in accordance with the applicable Morningstar DBRS methodologies, policies and procedures.
