Morningstar DBRS Publishes Updated Commercial Real Estate Related Methodologies

Morningstar DBRS published two updated commercial real estate related structured finance methodologies as follows:

-- North American Single-Asset/Single-Borrower Ratings Methodology; and
-- Morningstar DBRS Commercial Real Estate Property Analysis Criteria.

The update to the North American Single-Asset/Single-Borrower Ratings Methodology expands the sub-region to include the Commonwealth of the Bahamas (Bahamas). The update to the Morningstar DBRS Commercial Real Estate Property Analysis Criteria includes a reference to the Data Center property type and other clerical updates.

The updates supersede the following previous versions:

-- North American Single-Asset/Single-Borrower Ratings Methodology (July 11, 2024); and
-- Morningstar DBRS Commercial Real Estate Property Analysis Criteria (June 28, 2024).

The updates are effective as of September 19, 2024. Morningstar DBRS deems the updates not to be material and determined that no ratings are expected to change as a result of these updates.
