Morningstar DBRS Finalizes Provisional Credit Rating of BBB (low) With a Stable Trend on Whitecap Resources Inc.'s Senior Unsecured Notes
EnergyDBRS, Inc. (Morningstar DBRS) finalized its provisional credit rating of BBB (low) with a Stable trend on Whitecap Resources Inc.'s (Whitecap or the Company) Senior Unsecured Notes (Senior Notes) offering, comprising $400 million 4.382% Senior Notes due November 1, 2029.
The Senior Notes are direct, unsecured obligations of Whitecap and will rank equally and rateably with one another and with all other present and future unsecured and unsubordinated indebtedness of the Company.
Whitecap will use the issuance proceeds to refinance existing indebtedness and for general corporate purposes.
