Morningstar DBRS Publishes Two Updated Commercial Real Estate Methodologies

Morningstar DBRS published two updated commercial real estate credit rating methodologies as follows:

-- North American Single-Asset/Single-Borrower Ratings Methodology; and
-- North American CMBS Surveillance Methodology

The updates follow the periodic reviews that occur and there are no changes other than clerical updates to improve the reader's understanding of the methodology.

The updates supersede the following previous versions:

-- North American Single-Asset/Single-Borrower Ratings Methodology (December 13, 2024); and
-- North American CMBS Surveillance Methodology (December 13, 2024)

Morningstar DBRS deems the updates not to be material and determined that no credit ratings are expected to change as a result of these updates. The updates are effective as of February 28, 2025.
