Morningstar DBRS Requests Comments on Updates to Methodology for Rating and Monitoring Data Center Transactions

Morningstar DBRS is requesting comments on the proposed update to its "Rating and Monitoring Data Center Transactions" methodology (the Methodology), which may, upon the close of the request for comment period, supersede the version published on November 20, 2024. Morningstar DBRS deems the proposed update not to be material and determined that no outstanding credit ratings are expected to change as a result of this update.

The Methodology presents the criteria with which data center securitization credit ratings are assigned and/or monitored. The proposed changes relate to the expansion of the Methodology to the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. The proposed updated methodology text reflects such expansion and clarifies the analytical approach for APAC.
