(CGBD or the Company), is an externally managed, closed-end, non-diversified investment company that has elected to be regulated as a business development company (BDC) under the Investment Company Act of 1940 (the 1940 Act). Based in New York, NY, CGBD provides financing to middle market companies primarily in the United States, focusing on companies backed by private equity sponsors across a variety of industries. The Company was formed in 2012, completed its IPO in June 2017.
