National City Corporation, a financial holding company based in Cleveland, is among the largest regional banking and financial services companies in the United States, with more than $154 billion in assets and $12 billion in market capitalization (as of November 26, 2007). Although some of its businesses are national, National City Corporation operates primarily in a nine-state footprint that includes Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Florida.
