DBRS Publishes Methodology: Rating U.S. Structured Finance Transactions Backed by Direct Pay Letters of Credit

DBRS, Inc. (DBRS) has today published its rating methodology for U.S. structured finance transactions backed by direct pay letters of credit (LOC). This methodology outlines the DBRS criteria for LOC supported structured finance transactions in the U.S. The DBRS approach involves reviewing the terms of the LOC and analyzing its structural, operational and legal components.

This methodology is new and is effective as of May 29, 2012.
