DBRS Publishes Updated Corporate Criteria with Minimal Changes

DBRS has today published updated versions of the following five corporate criteria:

-- Trust Indentures -- Representations and Warranties, Covenants and Events of Default
-- Guarantees and Other Forms of Explicit Support
-- Canadian Bankruptcy and Restructuring Legal Considerations
-- Rating Market-Linked Securities
-- Evaluating Corporate Governance

Changes in these criteria related mainly to improvements in clarity, none of which are considered meaningful by DBRS. As such, none of these updates have resulted in any rating changes or rating actions.

Note that “Rating Market-Linked Securities” was formerly a published DBRS policy and has been re-classified as criteria on the belief that this is a more accurate categorization for this document. With the publication of this criterion, the former policy document has been removed from the DBRS website.
