DBRS Releases Report on Equitable Group Inc. and Related Entity

DBRS has today released a report on Equitable Group Inc. and Equitable Bank (formerly known as The Equitable Trust Company (the Trust); collectively, Equitable or the Company) that provides further detail on the recently confirmed ratings of BBB and BBB (low). Subsequent to DBRS’s confirmation of Equitable’s ratings on June 25, 2013, the Company received approval from the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions and the Minister of Finance to continue The Equitable Trust Company as a Schedule I bank named Equitable Bank. This change took effect on July 1, 2013. DBRS’s ratings that had applied to the Trust continue to apply to Equitable Bank.
