DBRS Rates Enbridge Gas Distribution’s New Issue at “A”

DBRS has today assigned a rating of “A” with a Stable trend to Enbridge Gas Distribution Inc.’s (EGD) issuance of CAD 300 million (1.85%) Unsecured Medium-Term Notes (MTNs) due April 24, 2017.

All issuance of MTNs will be direct, unsecured obligations of the Company, ranking pari passu with all the other unsecured and unsubordinated indebtedness of EGD.

Net proceeds from the sale of the new MTN issues will be used for the repayment of short-term debt and for general corporate purposes.
