DBRS Publishes Nine Updated Corporate Finance Methodologies and Discontinues One Methodology

DBRS has today published nine updated corporate finance methodologies as follows:

-- Rating Companies in the Railway Industry;
-- Rating Companies in the Airline Industry;
-- Rating Companies in the Industrial Products Industry;
-- Rating Companies in the Services Industry;
-- Rating Companies in the Television Broadcasting Industry;
-- Rating Companies in the Radio Broadcasting Industry;
-- Rating Companies in the Capital Goods Dealership Industry;
-- Rating Companies in the Printing Industry; and
-- Rating Companies in the Publishing Industry.

While each methodology has been revised for greater clarity, the changes overall are not substantive and there were no rating changes or rating actions caused by the publication of these methodologies.

In addition to publishing the updated corporate finance methodologies noted above, DBRS has also archived the methodology entitled “Rating Companies in the Trucking Industry” because DBRS no longer actively uses this methodology in its ratings. Nonetheless, the archived methodology will continue to be available on dbrs.com.
