DBRS Finalizes Rating of Hydro One Brampton Networks Inc. at “A,” Stable Trend

DBRS Limited has today finalized its Issuer Rating of Hydro One Brampton Networks Inc. (the Company) at “A” with a Stable trend following the transfer of the Company’s ownership to the Province of Ontario (rated AA (low) with a Stable trend). The rating reflects the stability of the Company’s electricity distribution business operating under a transparent and supportive regulatory framework in a strong and growing franchise area. The Company’s financial risk profile is reasonable with key credits metrics that are supportive of the “A” rating.

This rating has been assigned at the request of the Company for regulatory purposes only, and no separate rating report is being issued.
