DBRS Publishes Two Updated Corporate Finance Methodologies

DBRS has today published two updated corporate finance methodologies as follows:

(1) Rating Companies in the Regulated Electric, Natural Gas and Water Utilities Industry; and
(2) General Corporate Methodology.

Certain details have been clarified in these methodologies, but changes are not substantive and DBRS has determined that no ratings will change as a result of these updates.

Appendices to the general corporate methodology contain what DBRS refers to as “credit-specific methodologies,” which outline certain qualitative and quantitative factors that DBRS considers for unique issuers that do not fit within the parameters of one of the traditional DBRS methodologies.
