DBRS Morningstar Publishes Updated North American CMBS Surveillance Methodology

DBRS Morningstar published an updated version of the North American CMBS Surveillance Methodology (the Methodology).

The update coincides with an update to the “Ratings Actions, Designations, Commentaries, and Press Releases Global Policy,” specifically as it relates to the Interest in Arrears designation.

This update supersedes the previous version of the Methodology published in March 2022 and is effective as of October 3, 2022. DBRS Morningstar deems the update not to be material and has determined that no ratings are expected to change as a result of this update.
