DBRS Morningstar Releases Its September Single-Family Rental Performance Summary for Rated Securitizations

DBRS, Inc. (DBRS Morningstar) released its monthly report on the performance of rated single-family rental (SFR) securitizations for September 2023. The retention rate of expiring leases decreased to 81.4% from 81.9%, while the retention rate of month-to-month leases decreased to 87.7% from 89.1%. The average tenant delinquency rate on single-borrower transactions decreased to 3.9% in August from 4.1% in July 2023. The vacancy rate increased to 6.5% in August from 6.2% in July 2023.

The monthly Performance Summary report provides property-level performance information for all DBRS Morningstar-rated SFR transactions as of the September 2023 distribution date.
