First Nations Finance Authority (FNFA) is a not-for-profit, non-share capital corporation established through federal legislation and wholly owned by First Nation governments. However, it does not act as a Crown agent or benefit from a federal guarantee. FNFA's mandate is to provide cost-effective loans, capital planning advice and investment options to First Nation communities within Canada. The FNFA is governed by borrowing members.
